Timothy Kelly

Born in Cleveland, OH.

Currently residing in Oberlin, OH on our little homestead.

I first picked up a camera to document old, abandoned buildings and nature's ability to win back what’s rightfully hers while my college running teammates and I would run and explore the buildings during practice, camera in hand (sorry Coach). After spending several summers road tripping around the country and Europe, attempting to figure out who I was (and have since learned I’ll never accomplish that feat), I developed a love for capturing vast landscape photos and couldn't set my camera down. I’d consider it one of my favorite hobbies. It evolved into photographing people but more specifically people in their element, in flow, pursuing their passions.

My photographic style is “fly on the wall”, photojournalistic opportunities. I very much avoid anything to do with studio or anything that involves strobe lights or stagnant subject matter.

Hobbies include gardening, sailing, spending time with my wife and two beautiful daughters, hiking and keeping my butt in as good of shape as I can…and that’s not saying much!
